My last purchase was the yellow skirt, Simplicity 1366 is unexpectedly trendy. \u00a0The skirt alone was the selling point. \u00a0But, I opened it to realize the envelope also contains a pattern for a cami and a boatneck top. \u00a0I believe there is nothing\u00a0classier\u00a0and more comfortable than a boatneck. This can be a really cute and casual tee for jeans or a silk blouse to accompany the skirt. Anyway, that’s how I plan to spend my afternoon. \u00a0Any plans for yours?<\/p>\n
******UPDATE******<\/strong><\/p>\n I’ve sewn the boatneck top twice now. \u00a0I love it! \u00a0It’s a quick sew and the neckline is very easy to install. \u00a0The only problem I had is I forgot to add length. \u00a0So, that’s not really a problem, right? \u00a0I just added a band at the bottom. \u00a0I sewed it out of interlock knit \u00a0so it is really comfy. \u00a0You’ll be seeing a lot of this top on my blog this season. \u00a0I made a peplum version as well. \u00a0I promise to post those pictures!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Look at those!
