I did a version of this blog when I first started sewing. My opinion of the best sewing blogs has evolved. This is an update to that list from last year. In no particular order, of course.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.boomerina.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Boomerina<\/a>&#8211;\u00a0I already did an entire blog on her, one of my favorites!<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.colettehq.com\">Colette<\/a>&#8211; more information than\u00a0can be\u00a0taken in, great blog<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/chicenvelopements.wordpress.com\/tutorials\/\">The Renegade Seamstress<\/a>&#8211; great tutorials<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/The daily Seam\">Daily Seam<\/a>&#8211; always new information<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/ufdc.ufl.edu\/IR00000338\/00001\/3j\">Fitting<\/a>&#8211; a textbook online<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.clothingpatterns101.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Clothing Patterns 101<\/a>\u00a0&#8211; this site is amazing because they show you how to modify patterns to your specificity.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.unsungsewingpatterns.net\/search\/label\/1970s\">Unsung Sewing Patterns<\/a>&#8211; \u00a0trip through the decades<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sewingpartsonline.com\/blog\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sewing Parts Online<\/a>\u00a0&#8211; videos of everything any seamstress wannabe could desire<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sewinginnomansland.com\/2012\/03\/15\/crafty-cupboards-pleated-chevron-skirt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sewing In No Mans Land<\/a>&#8211; Great site for everyone in the family. \u00a0I especially love the box\u00a0pleat\u00a0skirt.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.olfa.com\/quilt-and-craft\/\">Olfa<\/a>\u00a0&#8211; Great projects and articles using their products. I LOVE my\u00a0Olfa\u00a0rotary cutter.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/clothhabit.com\/\">Cloth Habit<\/a>&#8211; lingerie information&#8230;.great info and lots of it!<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.craftsy.com\/classes\/sewing\/free\">FREE classes<\/a>\u00a0from\u00a0Craftsy, download them and hoard them. \u00a0Their classes are not usually free.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/so-sew-easy.com\/free-sewing-patterns\/\">FREE patterns<\/a>&#8211; Actually if you didn&#8217;t want to buy patterns, she has most things you would want on her site.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/girlcharlee.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Girl Charlee<\/a>&#8211; This is my very favorite place to buy knit fabric! \u00a0Okay, honestly I&#8217;ve only shopped at this online store. \u00a0But, I love it! \u00a0The prices and quality are amazing compared to Joann&#8217;s and Hancock Fabric, which are my only other choices.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/Simplicity.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Simplicity<\/a>&#8211; Perfect site for storing your fabric and pattern stash. \u00a0A wonderful reference when you are shopping and cannot remember what you need and what you have.<\/li>\n<li>Threads\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/threadsmagazine.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Magazine<\/a>&#8211; \u00a0So, you&#8217;re at home and need inspiration or just want to learn new things? \u00a0I love this site for that reason.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.moodfabrics.com\/blog\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mood<\/a>&#8211; I just discovered this one and feel like there is more information than I&#8217;ll ever be able to get bored with, they also sell fabric.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pinterest.com\/LucyLou918\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">My\u00a0Pintrest<\/a>&#8211; \u00a0This probably has the most information of all the sites I&#8217;ve listed. \u00a0It will carry you from beginner to infinity!<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/mellysews.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Melly\u00a0Sews<\/a>&#8211; Tons and tons of tutorials and how to&#8217;s<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.whowhatwear.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Inspiration<\/a>&#8211; For those days you want to create because you have this fabric&#8230;.welll, this site will help on determining what to create.<\/li>\n<li>Best Sewing Machine\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.goodhousekeeping.com\/product-reviews\/appliances\/best-sewing-machine-reviews\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Reviews<\/a>&#8211; Unbiased opinions<\/li>\n<li>I have great\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.lucyssewinglab.com\/sewing-contests\/\">information<\/a>\u00a0as well.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Of course, this is not\u00a0all inclusive. \u00a0Maybe, I&#8217;ll choose a blog a week or so to review? \u00a0Enjoy yourself with this list, I sure do!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; It&#8217;s the\u00a0world wide\u00a0web&#8230;.obviously there are more resources out there than anyone can use.
